AYURA Wellfit Body Sheet

AYURA Wellfit Body Sheet  810yen
I've got an idea. I think I should establish a company in the U.K. that sells wipes. Hand wipes, body wipes, face wipes that you can use with a makeup on...we have a lot of different wipes in Japan, and I wonder why they're not available in the U.K. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE England and I am considering moving here (only if I can find a job...sob) but come on, you need wipes in your lives!!

In Japan, classic wet wipes are called 'wet tissues' and they are not only for a baby's bum or toilet, they can be used in many different situations. We also have normal face wipes to remove makeup, and a different kind of face wipes to use during the day especially in disgusting summer in Tokyo (it was 38 degrees in Tokyo the other day I heard...how gross!) to freshen up. Then it comes to body wipes -my favourite.

I buy a bunch of body wipes every summer, because I can't cope without them! My favourite this year is definitely Wellfit Body Sheet from AYURA. You can get cheaper ones from the drugstores but I am not a big fan of the scents, they usually smell cheap and boring. But Wellfit Body Sheet takes it to the different level.

The sheet itself is very soft and a little fluffy in a way. It feels very cooling and refreshing on the skin, and because it's got powder (I guess) on the surface, it leaves the skin feel silky smooth -without a trace of sweat. Also, the scent is leaves on the skin is absolutely beautiful. It's got a similar scent to their multiple-award-winning product 'Meditation Bath' and I cannot rave about this product enough.

The top note is a blend of forest wood, leafy green, bergamot, apple, rosemary and chamomile, followed by the blend of rose, neroli and jasmine. The base note is a mixture of sandalwood, cedarwood and musk which isn't heavy as it sounds.

I do not leave my house without the wipes in summer in Japan, because I know I will be sweating a lot just by walking to the station, which is about 7 minutes walk. It's perfect for outdoor activities, workouts, or before a date to freshen up because it leaves a subtle yet beautiful scent on your skin. I like to use it around my neck when I don't have my perfume with me.

Unfortunately I've only used it once since I came to London last month, as the weather's been kind to me...but if you are planning to go to Japan in summer, buy a couple of these at the beginning of your trip and you won't regret it.

Sigma Eyeshadow Palette / Nightlife

Sigma Eyeshadow Palette / Nightlife  $39.00
When it comes to makeup, are you a playful or conservative girl? You can be both. I only wear neutral eyeshadows to work which is why I have multiple eyeshadow palettes full of nude shades in them. But that doesn't mean I don't like purple eyeshadow. I find Sigma Eyeshadow Palette in Nightlife very handy because I can create a very conservative look as well as a bold look suitable for night out -which I never do. You don't have to go out at night to rock the smoky eye anyway!

From left to right: Bijou, 4 Star, Panache and Topaz

Skyline, Vip, Boogie and Urbanette

No Waiting, Leather Pants, After Hours and Disco Ball

Just like other Sigma Eyeshadow Palettes, the eyeshadows are soft, buttery and super pigmented. It's got a good mixture of shimmery, glittery and matte shades that you can play with.

For a simple look like this, I mainly use the shades on the top row. To create this look, I used Bijou as a base, Panache on the crease, Topaz on the outer corner and 4 Star on the middle part of the lid to add a little bit of dimension. I am into orange eyeshadows at the moment, and this look is perfect when I want to wear orange in a subtle way.

For this look, I used the shades on the middle row mainly. I applied Skyline as a base, Panache and Urbanette on the crease, Leather Pants on the outer corner and blend Urbanette on top. To finish up, added Skyline on the centre of the lid, and sprinkle of Disco Ball overall.

As you can see, they are all pigmented and blend well with each other. None of the shadows are patchy or hard to blend. Plus, they are long-lasting!

Though I am not a huge fan of Camila Coelho (nothing personal at all, I just prefer UK beauty bloggers) I must admit this is such a gorgeous and well-made palette! What is your favourite Sigma palette? What should I try next? Let me know! x

Saborino Morning Face Mask

Saborino Morning Face Mask  390yen
Are you a type of person who tends to hit the snooze button to sleep extra 5 minutes...becomes 10 minutes..end up with15 minutes, then start running around trying not waste a second in the morning? Well, I am. I have never been a morning person in my life, and I am always running late. So, I had to try out Saborino Morning Face Mask to see if it does what it claims.

Saborino Morning Face Mask does everything from cleansing, exfoliating, moisturising, creating a perfect base for makeup. How attractive does it sound for not-a-morning-person like me?

I got a smaller size that contains 5 sheets, they have a bigger one that comes with 32 sheets (which they claim contains 304ml of lotion!!) as well. Usually I struggle to take one sheet mask out of this kind of bag, but surprisingly this one was very easy for some reason. It might be due to the material of the mask, which is thicker than typical sheet mask I would say.

You're supposed to stretch the mask to fit on your face, but I didn't find it too stretchy. I placed it on my face, then realised they have very small holes for eyes, and they are very close to each other. Though my eyes aren't the biggest in the world, they did't fit in to the holes. I liked the fact it hugs the jaw and neck with the extra parts on the edges if that makes sense...

It felt very refreshing and soothing on the skin. You're supposed to leave it for one minute, which I did. It gently exfoliates the skin, while moisturising and nourishing. I removed the mask, and pat the remaining lotion on the skin, and put foundation on top to see if it really does work as primer too. Unfortunately my foundation didn't go on as smoothly as I was expecting, and it made me reassure that I prefer following my usual morning skincare routine than using this mask only.

I love the concept and how easy it is to take one mask out off the package, but for me it didn't do what it claimed to do. However, it's very popular among Japanese girls at the moment, which means it works well for them! Give it a go if you are a lazy girl, you might find it a lifesaver in the busy morning ;)
