Hero Nutritionals Yummi Bears Multi-Vitamin and Mineral $17.99
Do you take supplements daily? If you do, when do you take them, in the morning or before bed? As I'm a vegetarian, I am supposed to be taking supplements daily. But I'm very bad at sticking to the routine including taking medicines or supplements, unless it's a fun thing to do. So I've been taking this vitamin supplement for children recently because it's getting colder and I thought I needed to start taking vitamins to prevent the cold!
It's got four different flavors such as strawberry, orange, pineapple and grape. But to be honest with you,all of them taste the same and I cannot tell the difference at all. They all taste fruity which is very nice actually, but I cannot tell which flavor is which. They don't contain artificial colours or flavors which is important as obviously you don't want to take chemicals while taking supplements.
I don't usually eat sweets much so I'm trying hard to eat 6 gummy bears a day, for me 6 gummy bears is quite a lot! I think it's perfect for children as it says on the package, kids would love this!! I strongly recommend it if you have children, basically serving size for kids is 3 bears a day which must be not enough for them because it's quite tasty :)
Now I'm looking for some other supplements especially for vitamin B6 which are not too sweet but not massive....because I found some American supplements are massive that I cannot even swallow! Let me know if you have any recommendation, I'd be happy to know! :)
My Favourite Smoothie for Summer
Saturday, 21 July 2012
Fruits in Japan are very expensive. I was shocked to see how cheap they are in the U.K. when I visited London in June. I love fruits, I would eat them every day if possible, but I only have some options to choose fruits here. Cheap ones are bananas, oranges, kiwi (still, sometimes just one small kiwi costs like 1 pound) and apples I guess.
I make this smoothie very often as you only need cheap ingredients.
- Orange - 1
- Banana - 1
- Pineapple (I use tinned one usually) - 1/2
- Ginger - size of a thumb
You just put them all together and blend. That's how easy it is to make smoothie, it only takes 2 minutes to make from the preparation process. The key is ginger, which adds this fresh flavor to this sweet juice. You should try it if you haven't added ginger to your smoothie. It's the best smoothie ever, I'm so in love with it!
Bananas lift up your mood, containing serotonin and fiber. Oranges contain vitamin so of course it must be good for your skin. Gingers warm up your body which is needed not only in winter but summer because of air-conditioning everywhere.
Now I'm going to make this smoothie, writing about it made me want to drink it right now!
My summer obsession
Wednesday, 11 July 2012
I just bought 24 bottles of Crystal Geyser Very berry Flavor!! I LOVE sparkling water but apparently it's not popular in Japan. I was shocked to see that every shops, even small ones, has got sparkling water when I visited London last month. I love sparkling water but it's not sold in convenient-stores which are the stores open for 24 hours that you might come across every 3 minutes walking down the street in Tokyo.
This Very Berry Flavor is refreshing and perfect for summer! It doesn't taste sweet but it's got really fresh sweet flavor and I love it. I usually don't drink enough water - I hardly finish one 500ml PET-bottle a day. I don't know why but I just tend to forget drinking water being busy. I was aware that it wasn't good for my health as well as for my skin, so I decided to drink my favorite water so that I don't have to, but I WANT to.
I'm looking forward to seeing difference on my skin as it's usually very dry, I guess I don't have enough water in my body. Since I started drinking Crystal Geyser, I am able to finish one bottle a day, sometimes two! Thanks Crystal Geyser...!
