Puresa Hydro Gel Mask 420yen
This face mask is the weirdest mask I've ever tried. I got it as a PR sample and was so excited to try it out. Apparently it's quite a popular product sold in drugstores. There are two types and one of them is in this blue packaging which I got, and it contains collagen and royal jelly extract. Another one (in a pink packaging) contains hyaluronic acid and ceramide. Both of them seem to have a moisturising effect but the blue one is supposed to be targeting more mature women who are aiming for firm skin.
Now, look how weird the mask looks!!
It's apparently made with serum, and as it's got this jelly-like-texture, you can leave it on for like 30 minutes so that the effective ingredients would penetrate into your skin.
Strange looking aside, actually it feels so nice with the mask on! It gets attached to my skin firmly and never dry out. I hate it when a sheet mask is dripping and my hands get greasy, but I didn't have to worry about any of those things with this mask. I just put it on my face, leave it for 30 minutes and remove & bin it. Done. Easy!
My skin felt hydrated after use, I definitely felt the difference on my skin. A 420yen sheet mask isn't too bad but I would choose the pink one if I purchase it myself, just because I need hyaluronic acid and ceramide more than the other ingredients since I have dry skin. It feels so good and relaxing, I think it's worth 420yen!
