Petal Fresh Organics Shampoo and Conditioner 1,260yen each
I had never heard of Petal Fresh Organics before and I couldn't find their official website in English although it's supposed to be an American brand, so I put the link of the Japanese website above. Petal Fresh Organics was launched in 2005 with the products without paraben and artificial colouring.
This is how this shampoo looks like. It's a clear gel-like formula which is easy to spread all over your scalp. As you can imagine from the packaging, it contains extracts of pomegranate and acai berry, which prevent your hair colour to be washed out. It smells just like bubble gum, which was surprising because I was expecting more natural, aromatherapy-kind of smell. It foams very well and doesn't make my hair squeaky.
This conditioner doesn't contain silicone but coats my hair well, though I need some silicone-contained leave-in conditioner before I blow my hair because this conditioner is a little bit too light for me and my hair gets tangled hard. I think my hair is too fair and damaged for silicone-free conditioner, I need really rich hair mask instead.
I definitely would keep using shampoo without silicone because why does shampoo need silicone even? Shampoo is something to cleanse your scalp mainly, which silicone has got nothing to do with, and washing your hair with silicone every day would clog your pores on your scalp. I really liked this shampoo mainly because of the sweet smell! I'm not sure if it really prevents my hair colour to be washed out but I will see how it goes as I just coloured my hair a few days ago!

Freebie: Benefit sun beam

Benefit sun beam £18.50
I know it's a little bit late to talk about it but I finally received my November issue of InStyle magazine, and I was so happy to receive the freebie with it! Mine was sun beam from Benefit, which I had never tried before. Benefit is not officially sold in Japan, I think it used to be a long time ago but it withdrew from the market. Now their products are sold online but I'd never tried because I wasn't sure if they were good although I knew the brand was popular and also I wanted to try out first before spending a lot of money purchasing them.
This tiny sample looks so cute doesn't it? On the official website it's described as "This golden bronze highlighter gives you a natural, sunkissed radiance. Dot & blend over makeup on to cheek & brow bones for a bronzed glow that complements all skintones. It’s liquid sunshine in a bottle!"
I usually don't use highlighter because it doesn't make a big difference on my face but I definitely was curious so it was a very good opportunity to try out.
Although the bottle is tiny, it's got a brush! And look at the colour, it's such a beautiful pink / bronze / gold colour...
My skin is pretty pale but it blends into my skin tone really well. It gives a healthy glow on my cheek like the sun is hitting there. Also I love how subtle it is. I usually pair this highlighter with Bourjois Healthy mix serum rather than Wake me up foundation by Rimmel because Healthy mic serum doesn't have shimmer in it, so it really does stand out.
I'm now interested in other highlighter from Benefit; moon beam and high beam. Also I would love to try their cheek stain as well especially posietint and benetint! Have you tried any of their cheek stain / highlighter?
Pierre Couleur Mineral Mousse Blush

Pierre Couleur Mineral Mousse Blush 3,360yen
I got this mineral blusher as a PR sample. At first I thought it was just a sample tube but later I found out that it was the actual product which is sold. Is it just me or the tube looks really plain and a bit boring...? Maybe some people find it simple and sophisticated though. Anyway, this cream blusher is made with mineral pigment unlike normal blusher which contains synthetic colour. This blusher also contains sesame oil, jojoba oil, macadamia oil, hazelnut oil, olive oil, scualane etc...They all are the ingredients which moisturize your skin which is perfect for winter!
I think this is a pretty new product and they only have one colour which is called "Lover's Pink". For me that sounded a bit weird but I like the colour itself.
It spreads well and the colour is very pretty. It gives a natural glow on my cheeks with gorgeous shimmer which I love. I've been using this blusher almost every day since I got it. I wish they had different colours like coral pink and orange.
This was my first cream blusher and I was impressed! Now I prefer cream blusher than normal powder one, and I would like to try other cream blusher too! Do you have any recommendation?
