Bath soak with fermented rice extract?

DSCN0133

Yubela Bath Soak  1,800yen

I had no idea how to spell the name of this product but it's pronounced as "You / Bay / La" or something like that. Basically it's a medical bath soak which contains fermented rice extract which moisturizes your skin and prevents dryness. This bath soak cures poor circulation, stiff shoulder, nerve pain, pimples, tiredness, bruise and chapped skin

At first I thought it was just a traditional (and a bit tacky) bath soak, but believe me, it's just AMAZING. It really does work. I've always got cold hands and feet because my circulation must be so poor, and they gets cold again 10 minutes after I've been out of the bathtub. But this bath soak keeps me warm for more than an hour which is a miracle. The herbal scent is very relaxing and soothing as well.

This 600ml bottle costs 1,800yen and that's a little over my budget but I wouldn't mind purchasing it during winter and use it about once or twice a week for a little pampering. If you are suffering from any serious problems like poor circulations or chapped skin or stiffed back / shoulder, you may want to choose something medical like this one! I am really enjoying this bath soak and am looking forward to having a bath with it tonight!

Real Techniques Stippling Brush

Real Techniques Stippling Brush $9.99

FINALLY! I always always wanted to try out their brushes but I couldn't find a way to purchase them here in Japan unless I buy them on eBay which is pretty expensive including the postage. I didn't even hesitate to buy this stippling brush when I found it on iHerb.com because the price of the brush itself was cheaper than it was in pound and also the postage wasn't too bad either. I actually wanted their buffing brush but they didn't have it unfortunately and that made me pick this one up instead.

The body is shiny pink which is pretty, and it has this rubber grip which helps it to stand on its own. I saw some reviews of this brush and some youtubers said like "Who would stand a brush?" but sorry, I would. I have a glass which I put all my brushes in but as this one is pretty big I would rather stand it next to my foundation. Why not?

It's got taklon bristles instead of animal hair, which means it's vegetarian / vegan-friendly. The bristles are not too soft yet not harsh on the skin at all, and it blends my liquid foundation in perfectly. I was using a paint brush to spread liquid foundation on my face but it made it look uneven and patchy sometimes. This stippling brush doesn't do that at all, and instead it creates such a flawless finish with a small amount of foundation.

I am impressed by this brush enough to buy more of their brushes. I think I'm going to London in a couple of months so I'm definitely going to Boots for those! I'm thinking of getting their powder brush and some tiny brushes for eyeshadow and concealer. Which brush do you recommend? Which one is your vafourite? Let me know!

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Nourishing Lotion

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Nourishing Lotion £4.99

I always wanted to try something from Garnier. I had heard and seen many bloggers mentioning about their concealer, BB cream, beauty oil etc. I picked this one up from feelunique.com because I wanted to try something which I use on my body instead of my face just in case it irritates my skin. I have gotten rash on my face from some cosmetics in the past so I always have to be careful not to use a skincare item which contains some strong / harsh ingredients. When the product is pretty cheap, there is a reason. Normally it's because they contain very cheap ingredients, and that means (most of the time) they are pretty harsh. I don't mean to be rude to drugstore cosmetics at all but that's the reason why I usually try a bodycare item before I try a skincare item from any drugstore cosmetics.

Garnier has some different types of body lotion. This one contains cocoa butter, and is made for dry and rough skin. There are Sheer Butter which is made for dry and extra dry skin, Mango for Dry skin, Calming Honey for Sensitive skin and Aloe Vera for Normal skin. There are some other ones with a fake-tanning effect, and some super moisturizing ones. I chose this one just because of the scent.

Apparently this body lotion keeps your skin nourished and moisturized even 7 days after your last application...after  twice daily application for 4 weeks. I'm not sure how that works and I don't think I can ever feel that effect because I like switching my body lotion all the time depending on my mood. It's impossible for me too stick to just one body lotion.

This is a very light yet moisturizing body lotion which smells very nice. It smells like cocoa / vanilla / honey which smells just like the honey shampoo from The Body Shop which is discontinued. I really loved that scent so I was very happy when I noticed that this body lotion smelled exactly the same! It's not overpowering at all but does leave a sweet scent on my skin. It is moisturizing and prevents dryness for sure without making my skin greasy. I can dress right after the application because it sinks in pretty quickly. The only problem I have with this product is the size. I believe they have it in a smaller bottle but feelunique only had this size which is 400ml and it's pretty huge!! I'm not sure if i can ever finish using it

I'm very interested their BB cream, and there are two different ones I believe. Have you ever used them? Did you like them? Let me know! x
