Badger Lip Tint And Shimmer

Badger Lip Tint And Shimmer Opal And Copper $5.39

This is the first Badger product I've picked up. I always knew about the brand but never wanted to try any product particularly. When I saw this prodcut at Vitacost.com, I thought it would be nice to carry around in my bag because it's tiny but works in two different ways. Basically this tinted lip balm has got two ends, one with a normal tinted lip balm which you can choose a colour, and another end has this shimmery lip balm which you can add on top of the tinted lip balm on the other end.

I chose this colour called Copper, hoping it to be sheer.

I was kind of surprised to see how coppery it looked! I know it's called Copper but it really does look like the colour of a coin. And it stinks of weird almond mixed with some oils.

In this photo, I applied it just a bit and blended it out with my fingertip otherwise it would make my lips look like a statue or something. It's that strong! Yes that means it's pigmented which is a good thing, but not so much with this product. It doesn't apply smoothly and when your lips aren't in the best condition it makes them look much worse.

This colour is not the one you can wear by itself because it makes you look like a zombie.

It actually looks pretty nice when I add it on top of the other one. It makes the lips look plumpy and adds some shine. As long as you can apply the copper one well, this product wouldn't make your lips look horrible.

But for me the biggest problem is the taste and smell. I see some people absolutely love this product but I don't recommend it at all. This is absolutely a disappointing product. Have you ever tried this particular product? Also what's your favourite product from Badger?

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer  5.99GBP

I've been using concealers since I was about 15 because of my dark circles. I've tried many different concealers but I haven't met any special concealer which I would repurchase over and over again. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on Collection  Lasting Perfection Concealer when I come to the U.K.,but I purchased this one from feelunique.com just because I wanted to try out. I heard many good things about their foundation and powder, so I thought this concealer should be good as well!

The colour I got is "Light" which is the lightest colour in the yellow-toned range. There is another bright colour called "Fair" but this one is more pinkish than Light. I wanted yellowy one because that would cover up my dark circles.

I like this sponge applicator much better than a brush applicator like Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer. I really don't like the tube because every time I use it I have to squeeze the tube and sometimes it comes out too much and I waste it. It's just frustrating!

I really like this texture because it's not too loose but definitely not too heavy. A little bit goes a long way and it covers up my redness around my nose perfectly! But when it comes to my dark circles, unfortunately it's not enough. Maybe it's because of the colour because this colour looks slightly darker than how it should be to cover my dark circles. I still use it under my eyes anyway but I wish it had more coverage.

I'm very interested in their liquid foundation. Have you tried any of their Fit Me range?

PAUCE Cleansing Butter

PAUCE Cleansing Butter  3129yen

Today I'm going to talk about my favourite Japanese beauty product! I didn't know anything about this brand (I guess it's pretty new) but believe me, this cleansing butter is just amazing. First of all, let's be honest. The packaging is not pretty at all. It looks cheap and old-fashioned, it wouldn't catch my eyes if I didn't know anything about this product. I think it would look much nicer if it was in a glass jar or something, that would make it look more expensive and luxury.

This cleanser doesn't contain any petroleum-derived ingredients, paraben, and artificial perfume. It has α-Hydroxy Acid which melts the old dead skin cells on your skin and makes it smooth.

As you can guess from the name, it's got this buttery texture which turns into oil once I put it on my palms. It has a subtle scent of orange essential oil which doesn't cover the smell of the ingredients. I wish the scent was a little bit stronger so that it would have another effect; relaxation.

Now I would like to show you how well this cleanser removes makeup.

You can see the cleanser is melting the lipstick.

Ta-da!! You only need about 30 seconds to massage then voila! Even my waterproof mascara is completely gone. There's no trace of makeup. Since I started using this cleanser I haven't used Bioderma to remove my eye makeup just because this cleanser removes everything. When you wash it off it leaves my skin pretty oily, as if a very think layer of oil is on my skin. But once the skin is dry, it becomes really soft and moisturized.

I love how easy it is to remove my makeup with this cleanser. I wish it smelled nicer and the packaging was more sophisticated, but other than that it's such a nice cleanser. I won't buy it myself (did I mentioned that it was sent to me as a PR sample?) because it's pretty expensive and I would prefer buying Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish in the bigger tube if I had 3000yen to spend on cleanser, but I have been enjoying this cleanser very much.

What is your favourite cleanser which removes all the makeup easily?
