I'm back in Tokyo!
Thursday, 28 March 2013
Hi there, I'm back in Tokyo! I was in London for almost two weeks and it had been super cold while I was there. It snowed a couple of times and I was frozen as you can imagine. It was hectic and pretty stressful this time as my husband was so busy dealing with his family stuff. Although he wanted to take me out and entertain me (that's what he said!), he just physically didn't have time to do so. As I felt bad for him and also because I knew me complaining about the situation wouldn't help, I tried to be supportive (though I couldn't help much) and being quiet. We stayed in central London for a night but because the weather was so bad, we couldn't walk around as much as we did in last summer.
But of course I went to Boots, Superdrug, SpaceNK and John Lewis to buy some beauty bits. I'm so excited to open and start using them, and write my reviews here! I'll be taking photos of them this weekend hopefully, and start writing about them from next week.
Although we didn't have fun as much as we did last time, I still appreciate my family-in-law's kindness. They kindly let me stay there and welcomed me warmly. We decided to go visit them again in summer 2014 which is way off in the future, but I will look forward to it from now on :)
And a big thanks for you all who tweeted me and left comments on my Instagram!
I will be away for 2 weeks...but I'll be instagramming!!

Hello there! I have a small announcement to make today. As I mentioned before, I'll be away for about two weeks as I'm going to London to visit my family-in-law. This is my second time and I'm so excited! I had been sick as hell these past few weeks, starting from a bad cold to the worst cramps ever. I decided not to take my PC this time because it's simply heavy and not needed. Last time I only used my PC to search for some restaurants and shops which I can do on their PC.
So I won't be blogging for two weeks at least, but I'll be tweeting and instagramming from my iPhone using wi-fi! Actually I've been into Instagram for a while now, it's fun trying to find something interesting for my followers who are not in Japan in everyday life. If you've got an instagram account, follow me from the link below or the icon there >>
My another Instagram photo I posted the other day...I've gotten my nails done for the first time in about 10 months! My nails are really thin and I didn't want them to break while I'm in England. It's "gel nails" which lasts up to 3 weeks.
My fluffy jumper which reminds me of a crow....
My Instagram account is set as private at the moment, please send me a request if you're interested! It'll be nice to see your photos too, I love checking out the photos by my fellow bloggers!
Take care and see you soon!

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil Free B.B. Cream £8.50
I'm going to get to the conclusion. I LOVE THIS BB CREAM. I hadn't tried any BB cream until last month when I received a PR sample from a Japanese company. Their BB cream wasn't that good because it made my whole face streaky as it didn't sink into the skin quickly enough. I tried my best to make it work somehow but it didn't happen. Right after my disappointing experience with the Japanese BB cream, I finally opened this BB cream which had been sitting in my room for about a month. I got it from feelunique.com and was waiting for the perfect timing to open it. And that's when I fell in love with this product.
It's very loose in consistency as you can see in this photo. I really think it's their mistake to put this BB cream in this tube packaging. It should be in a pump bottle for sure. You can't call it "cream" in my opinion, it should be called "BB liquid" although it sounds silly. Every time I open the lid, the liquid comes out none stop and it's pretty annoying. I put it in my glass jar that I put all my brushes upside down to prevent that annoying "accident" but it doesn't help at all.
Besides that, it's such a nice product. It doesn't get streaky at all and melts into the skin instead. Whenever I use this BB cream I get compliments on my "flawless" skin. It's supposed to be for oily and combination skin but I didn't find it drying at all on my dry skin. Just because it's oil-free, doesn't mean it's not suitable for dry skin as long as you moisturize your skin enough.
Overall, it's a must-have in my makeup bag now. I've been wearing it every day since I got it and it impresses me every time I use it. This product made me curious about other BB cream as well -what's your favourite BB cream? Let me know!
