Baby Pink BB Loose Powder

Baby Pink BB Loose Powder  1200yen
I received this product as a PR sample. I have heard of this brand called Baby Pink, which is a Japanese drugstore makeup brand. Their products are pretty cheap, around 1000yen mark, and they seem to be quite popular.

This loose powder has UV protection which is good for a lazy girl like me. I always forget to put sunscreen on and I somehow remember right before make full makeup is done. How lazy and stupid am I? I might regret when I turn 50 like my mum did, she recently found some blemishes on her cheeks and was pretty upset about that. I already have some small blemishes like freckles, and I remember I was super upset and depressed when I found them when I was about 25. Since then I've been trying harder to remember to apply sunscreen every day, but I still forget sometimes. Anyway, I'm aware that this powder may not be strong enough to protect my skin from UV but I figure it's better than nothing.

It has this fluffy powder puff in it. It's so soft and feels very nice on my skin. Apparently it's got two different kinds of powder which are called air-in powder and bright-up powder, and they reflect the light and makes your skin look flawless.

I press the powder puff gently on my skin starting from my cheeks, then nose and forehead, trying not to wipe the foundation off. It makes my skin absolutely flawless and beautiful. It gives a matte finish without being cakey or dry. It's the best drugstore powder I've ever tried! Sometimes I still can see my pores on my cheeks after applying foundation -especially when I use BB cream- but this powder erases them all. My skin looks really beautiful after applying this powder, so I don't even need a full-coverage foundation. It's such a nice powder I would recommend to anyone from oily skin to dry skin.

My first ever Nail Wrap experience!

I received this set of nail wraps as a PR sample the other day. This was my first ever nail wraps to try out, and I was pretty excited to explore! This one has got 20 nail wraps in it, in different patterns and sizes.

It was much easier to apply than I imagined. All you have to do is clean your nail surface, place the nail wrap, gently push it so that it sticks to the nail, then file the excess part.

I'm not sure about the quality of this particular nail wrap because it got shrunken by the top coat and it got well-creased! I don't think it's supposed to be like this but it happened the moment I applied the top coat. Other than that I kind of like this nail wrap as it lasts a few days and it looks pretty cool. I like paring this pattern with red or dark green nail polish.

I'm interested in the nail wraps from essie, has anyone tried it yet? What's your thought?

It's always nice to receive an unexpected present. I don't receive presents often, maybe only from my family on my birthday or Christmas. But I received this lovely perfume as a gift in England and it made me so happy. I don't buy perfumes myself as I've been totally in love with Au the Rouge from BVLGARI for more than 5 years. I also don't like perfumes from Chloe, Dior, Chanel and YVES SAINT LAURENT, because their perfumes have this same kind of heavy scent which I cannot handle. I was a bit worried if I would like this perfume when I received it because I'm difficult to please when it comes to scents, and I really wanted to like it because it's such a lovely gift.

I've been wearing this perfume for more than 2 weeks now whenever I go to work or to have lunch with my friends, and I'm loving it. The scent includes a mixture of waterlily, apple, mandarin meringue, golden apricot skin, dark chocolate, amber, musk, and vanilla. It must be pretty easy for you to imagine what it smells like, it's pretty sweet but fresh and light at the same time. It's got this heavy scent which is a mixture of chocolate, vanilla and musk I guess, so I might not be wearing it in summer because it's going to be super humid here in Japan, and this scent could be a bit overpowering. But I love wearing this scent when the weather is a bit chilly, it goes really well with cold air. I also like the detailing especially the cute little crown-shaped lid.

If you're looking for perfume which is sweet but not heavy, I recommend this perfume. I think it's targeting girls in 10's - early 20's by the advertisements as well as the scent and the packaging, but I'm enjoying it and I'm almost 30.

It also came with these tubes which are body polish and body lotion in the same scent. The body polish has got small beads in it to exfoliate, and it leaves my skin smelling so good. It's not as sweet as the perfume in my opinion, it's more like a fresh floral scent. The body lotion smells a bit different from both, it smells a bit like plastics somehow...does anybody agree with me?

What's your signature perfume? Also which perfume are you loving this Spring / Summer?
