Lits Wistea Grace Bodysoap

Lits Wistea Grace Body Soap  998yen

I love body soap. Body soap is such a handy item to transform a boring bath time to a relaxing spa-like time! I normally have a few different kinds of body soap so that I can pick one depending on my mood.

This body soap contains the ingredients to moisturize your skin such as olive oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, macadamia oil, hyaluronic acid and ceramide.

It foams really well so I only need a tiny bit to wash my whole body. I don't even need one pump, and the bottle is huge so it'll last forever! There are three different scents, one of them is "feminine musk" which is musky floral scent, and the next one is "white bouquet" which has got this herbal floral scent like a bouquet, and my one is called "peony fleur" which is supposed to smell like citrus and flowers.

BUT actually it smells of floral celery. I know, it's weird and any kind of body soap shouldn't be smelling like celery. This one does. What an innovation!! I first thought it was just me, and I asked my family members if they agreed with me and they did. They were like "YES! It DOES smell of celery!" so it's not just me then.

But the weird part is that I kind of like this smell. It smells completely different from the bottle, but once you start using it it smells of celery, and then after the bath it leaves subtle floral scent on your skin which is pretty nice. And it doesn't dry out my skin much which is an essential thing in winter.

What's your favourite body soap?

Sweetsalon W Brown Eyeliner

Sweetsalon W Brown Eyeliner  1260yen

I had never tried brown eyeliner before because I thought that black eyeliner would suit me the best. But this eyeliner completely changed my mind. I am now obsessed with brown eyeliner. This colour is called Milk Chocolate, and there is another colour called Bitter Chocolate which is darker than this one.

It's got the liquid eyeliner one side and the powder to shade off with on the other side. I was a bit surprised with the size because it looked pretty big compared to the other eyeliners I owned.

This is how the liquid eyeliner looks like. It's really thick isn't it? It looks like a marker or something! And also the brush is quite hard and it's not bendy at all so it's really hard to draw a thin straight line.

This is the other side. The powder is inside of the cap so you actually have to twist the body of the eyeliner a few times with the cap on, then the ideal amount of powder would come with the sponge-tip. You apply this powder on top of the line after it's dried completely, then shade off the contour with it. I put it under my eyes as well to blend in.

This is the swatches.  The formula of the liquid is actually like watercolour which means it's really watery. But the good part of is it that it dries within 30 seconds even though it looks watery. They should definitely change the brush though, this thick brush with the consistency of the liquid doesn't go well together.

The powder has got subtle shimmer in it which I love, and also the colour looks really pretty. It's not too dark so you won't end up looking like a girl who just got punched. But when I apply the powder on top of the liner, somehow the liner disappears. So I always have to redraw the end part of the line.

This is how they look like on my eye. It looks pretty nice doesn't it? I really like the fact that this colour soften my eyes. Recently I wear brown eyeshadows almost every day and I think this eyeliner goes really well with any kind of brown shades. I've been wearing it a lot since I got it, and am thinking of trying out another colour called Dark Chocolate.

It's a little bit different from any other eyeliners I'd used so it took me a while to get used to it but now I love love love this eyeliner much better than my normal boring black eyeliners!

What do you think of brown eyeliners?

Skinfood Nail Vita in Redstone

Skinfood Nail Vita 350yen

Skinfood is a Korean beauty brand. Their products contain extract from food including fruits, vegetables and even caviar. They have very unique products such as a facial mask with kiwi extract, chocolate soap, strawberry toner and tomato sunscreen. I had never tried their products but this nail polish caught my eyes when I was shopping with a friend of mine.

First of all it's very cheap. In Japan O.P.I and Essie are around 3000yen, and even crappy ones usually cost more than 500yen except the ones from 100yen shop. So, 350yen for nail polish is very cheap and I wanted to try out to see how it works.

The colour is called Redstone and it's got the red glitters. I like the colour especially in the moment I apply, but when it gets dry the colour gets lost somehow and it doesn't look as beautiful as I expected.

And the brush sucks. Overall it's not my favoruite nail polish at all to be honest, I wish the brush was a bit harder than it is now and the formula was just...better!

Have you heard of skinfood before? Do you think you would try their unique products?
