Reviva Labs Firming Eye Serum

Reviva Labs Firming Eye Serum $8.89

I purchased this eye serum from Vitacost.com a while ago. I had not heard of this brand "Reviva" and of course I didn't know anything about this eye serum. But apparently this eye serum is one of the best selling products on the website, and a lot of people seem to be loving this product according to the reviews. I was just looking for a good eye cream, so thought to give it a try.

It says "Reduce the appearance of eye-area wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles...as you protect against future signs of aging. Our new Firming Eye Serum, with its special base and precise blending, penetrates the thin skin around eyes for quick absorption" on the description bar. It sounded like it's a perfect eye serum as it prevents wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles, and also nourish and moisturize the eye areas. Perfect!

I like this gel-like-consistency very much as it's easy to spread on my skin. It's not thick and heavy at all which is good under makeup. It absorbs very quickly so I can use it in the morning right before applying foundation and concealer. When I used a thicker eye cream I had to reduce the amount to apply or I just didn't apply in the morning because it caused concealer to crease.

It doesn't have a scent which is a little bit boring for me as I'm obsessed with  scents. But it's a simple and effective eye serum which I can rely on. Since I started using this product I don't have too worry about my concealer getting caky under my eyes. It does work surely without any irritation or discomfort which is good.

The original retail price is $19 but it's 53% off on Vitacost! It's pretty big for eye serum (29.5ml) so it will last pretty long I guess. If you ever shop at Vitacost, you should definitely add this item to your basket. No harm in trying!

Skinnygirl Sangria Bath Kit

Skinnygirl Sangria Bath Kit $13.75

I purchased it from Vitacost.com where you can get American stuff from. I was looking for some good bath products and the fragrance "Sangria" caught my eyes. I thought it could be a refreshing scent which is perfect for the morning shower. This kit includes shower gel, body lotion and body scrub.

I am not a big fan of the name of the brand to be honest. I think it was originally a wine brand and the name is something to do with the wine but still I just don't like the name at all. Being skinny isn't always a good thing and a brand representing that being skinny is good isn't just right in my opinion.

As for the products, they both smells like an air refresher for a bathroom. I was super disappointed when I smelt it because it didn't evoke Sangria at all. I don't know how to describe the scent but it was a very cheap smell.

They work OK as shower gel and body lotion. Shower gel foams OK, and body lotion doesn't make my skin sticky. But the smell kills me every time I use it :(

The scrub smells stronger I think. If you are a fan of this smell, you will love it. It's got small beads in it which exfoliates skin without irritation. I like how it feels on my skin, well...again, except the smell which lasts quite long.

Overall, I was very disappointed at the quality and the scent. But I asked a friend of mine if she liked the smell and she said "It smells so good, Japanese beauty products don't smell like  this at all so for me it's like a scent of overseas!" so it could be just me. Skinnygirl has some supplements as well which I'm thinking of trying someday!

Nourish Organic Hand Wash

Nourish Organic Hand Wash - Fresh Fig  $6.594

I got it from Vitacost, the American shopping website where you can get stuff like natural beauty products, supplements and drugstore cosmetics that I've mentioned a few times before

This hand wash looks very pretty and it makes me feel excited to wash my hands I picked the scent "Fresh Fig" which is the mixture of Apricot and Fig. There are other scents like Lavender Mint, Wild Berries and Almond Vanilla.

The scent is very subtle yet long-lasting. It was a little bit different from my expectation, which is a fresh fruity scent. It's more like an natural smell of plants if that makes sense. I'm not a big fan of the smell but still I like this hand wash because it's got scrub beads in it which exfoliate my hands. It leaves my hands clean and smooth, without drying them out. I would love to try "Almond Vanilla" which I imagine a warm and cozy scent.

Let me know if you've got a favourite hand wash!

October Favoruites

I know it's the middle of November but I made an effort to take photos of my October Favourites, so I'm going to write about them!

Liz Earle Cleanse&Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser  (full review)
I am totally in love with this cleanser. It works, it smells good and it makes my skin so soft and smooth like a baby's. I use this cleanser with the muslin cloth about 3 times a week. It's tempting to use it every day but I try not to because I'm not sure if it's true or not but I have heard that we Asian have thinner skin than other races so we shouldn't exfoliate our skin as much. Also if you exfoliate every day, your skin cells get removed before the skin underneath is strong enough, and that could cause sensitivity. Anyway I love this cleanser so much, and since I started using this product my skin has been in a very good condition.

balance me rose otto Body Cream  (full review)
There's no reason to complain about this product. It moisturizes my skin perfectly, smells so gorgeous and I love the packaging. balance me is definitely one of my favourite beauty brands. The best part of this body cream is that it doesn't make my palms greasy after applying it on my body. I hated and forgot to put moisturizer on my body before I discovered this product, but now I can't wait to put this good-smelling body cream every night before bed.

Caudalie Divine Oil  (full review)
Love love love this oil. Usually I apply this oil on my arms, neck and hair to enjoy the scent. I cannot describe the smell but it's something like a mixture of floral and vanilla type of sweet scent if that makes sense. It's so addictive and I really love this scent in the winter air. The oil is very light and it sinks in very quickly which is perfect for a busy morning because I don't have to wait to put clothes on!

Sunshine Spa Bath & Body Oil (full review)
I pour a few drops of this bath oil into my bathtub when I feel the need of relaxation. It smells incredible, I don't care the fact that the oil makes the whole bathroom slippery. It smells of lavender, chamomile, bargamot and sandalwood which is truly relaxing. You can use it as a shower oil or body oil if you wish, I strongly recommend this oil if you're having a stressful life!

balance me wonder eye cream (full review) Another balance me product I was loving in October. This eye cream is so light yet moisturizing, so I can use it in the morning as well as night time. It moisturize my skin without making it greasy as it sinks in very quickly. I love the herbal scent too.

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment
I haven't done a full review of this product yet, but I will definitely do it very soon. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now and whenever I apply this oil, my hair becomes so silky. I've got fine hair and it gets tangled which is horrible -sometimes I tear my tangled hair accidentally- but this oil prevents tangle and that is amazing! It also smells really nice, like a musky vanilla type of scent which reminds me of some male perfume.

Aveda Eye Color Trio in Sea Grass (full review)
I use this eyeshadow palette every day. I haven't figured out how to use the black colour as I have been into brown eyeshadows rather than black recently. But the other two colours are my daily essentials for sure. The pink one is perfect for the base on my eyelids, it creates the even skin tone which is like a clean canvas! I use the brown colour to contour and sometimes on my eyebrows.

Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter (full review)
I wear Peach Parfait nearly every day to work. It's such a pretty colour, which is not too bright and not too nude. This colour makes my whole face look fresh and healthy!! I am very busy at work and don't have time to look into a mirror and fix my makeup, so I like the fact that I don't need a lip brush and a mirror to apply this lipstick, instead I can just apply it as if it's a lip balm and it looks fine!

Thanks for reading, it became such a long post...sorry! Hope you enjoyed it :)

Sunshine Spa Organics Bath&Body Oil

Sunshine Spa Rest and Relax Therapeutics Bath and Body Oil  $9.23

I purchased this oil from Vitacost.com when I was looking for a nice bath oil / salt for a relaxing bath time. Sunshine Spa Organics is an American beauty brand which makes the finest quality natural/organic and fair trade bath and body products.

The product description on Vitacost :
Rest & Relax Therapeutic Bath & Body Oil with Kava Kava and Valerian in our Ayurvedic Blend of Oils. Rest & Relax is Sunshine Spa's ultimate stress reliever.  Infused with the powerful herbal extracts of Kava Kava and Valerian and the essential oil of Lavender, this exclusive spa blend eases the stress and tension of daily life.

I NEED good smelling bath oil or bath salt when I take a bath because to be honest I hate taking a bath. It's hot and humid which makes my magazine wet, and it's hard to breath and simply tiring. But I try to take a bath especially in winter to warm up my body because I have a poor circulation.

This oil smells absolutely fantastic and it encourages me to take a bath. The blend with lavender, chamomile, bargamot and sandalwood smells so comforting and relaxing. It actually contains valerian which is a plant which stinks like hell but is used for treatment of insomnia, and kava kava that loosen your muscles that gets hard by stress. Thankfully I don't smell any hints of valerian which is a good thing, I only smell a fantastic blend of essential oils.

It's in this type of plastic bottle and I just pour about two teaspoon of the oil into the bathtub. It's just a normal oil so it doesn't get dissolved and is just floating at the water level and makes the whole bathroom slippery but I just love the smell so much.

I also use it as a body oil sometimes, I usually prefer body cream but when I want to enjoy the scent I apply a small amount of this oil on my arms and legs. It moisturize my skin well, but to avoid getting all greasy I apply it on my wet skin.

It seems like there were more than 5 different scents of the oil but sadly most of them are discontinued. I'm scared if this particular scent is actually discontinued too. I checked out their official website but it doesn't have any important information and I haven't found out. If you're interested, you can purchase it at Vitacost that I put the link above :)

What's your favourite bath product? Any recommendations?

Desert Essence Organic Red Raspberry

Desert Essence Organic Shampoo Red Raspberry  $8.99
Desert Essence Organics Conditioner Red Raspberry  $8.99

I picked them up on Vitacost which I mentioned before, where you can buy American natural beauty products and supplements from. I wasn't particularly looking for haircare products at that point but these packaging caught my eyes. And also you may have noticed yet, I love scents and I cannot resist anything smells like raspberry and pear so I had to get these!

Desert Essence is an American beauty brand. Their products are made with natural and effective ingredients, which are suitable for vegetarian. They have skincare range, haircare range, bath&body care range, dentalcare range and baby range. I am interested in the hairecare and bath&body care range the most because they all seem to be smelling nice. Besides raspberry they have for example Tropical Coconut, Coconut Lime, Spicy Vanilla Chai, Sweet Almond, Pumpkin Spice, Italian Red Grape etc...

This is what the shampoo looks like. It's very loose and easy to spread all over my scalp and hair. It foams very well, so I only need about 2 tea spoons of the shampoo to wash my long hair. Many organic shampoos such as John Master's Organic don't foam much and that makes it really hard to wash long hair like mine, it all gets tangled and the shampoo runs out quickly although those types of shampoos are pretty expensive. With this shampoo, you don't have to worry about it at all.

Also it's got such a sweet, fresh and natural raspberry scent which is very nice. I LOVE the smell so much that I want to drink it which I won't!

Conditioner smells a bit sweeter somehow. It also smells really good, like a sweet raspberry candy! As the shampoo doesn't contain silicone it makes my long and fine hair tangled but once I apply this conditioner which is silicone free as well, it makes my hair silky immediately.

The scent lasts quite long, not in the same way as it does in the shower but I still can smell it when I blow my hair. I think the combination of this shampoo and conditioner is still too light for me as my hair get tangled really easily after using the pair.

But still I really like these products including the packaging and smell, I absolutely enjoy using them in the shower! I think I would try another scent next time I order some products from Vitacost!

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Rose

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm 5.1GBP

Recently I'm into lip products. It is very unusual for me as I don't usually wear colours on my lips because I don't want to define my big mouth. Maybe my mouth isn't that big but it does look big when it's paired with a tiny nose like mine. I usually wear lip balm or very sheer lip gloss, but as I see loads of plum and red lips everywhere, I wanted to try something new. But of course I didn't want to wear red lips, that's why I tried out this tinted lip balm for the first step.

It's in this cute paper package, and I really like the natural vibe the brand has got. I actually had never tried anything from Burt's Bees, but I knew they made very nice products. Once I tried their body cream which has got this amazing scent (I think it was the cocoa one) and absolutely loved it. I didn't buy the actual product because I thought the scent was too sweet for me but I'm thinking of getting it this winter.

The colour I picked up is Rose. It thought the colour was too bright for me but I trusted the name of the product "TINTED LIP BALM" and purchased it on feelunique. I thought like  "Oh my gosh I would never be able to wear it!" when I opened the lid to be honest!

But yes, it IS tinted lipbalm. It is just enough to give my lips a hint of colour. It's very sheer which makes it wearable in any kind of occasions. I wear it to work every day since I got it because it doesn't give too much colour but it makes my face look brighter and healthier.

Also it's got this wonderful smell, I don't know what it is exactly but for me it smells like bananas...anyone agree? It does moisturize my sensitive lips without getting flaky that I don't even need another lip balm underneath.

I will definitely try out other colours when it runs out, I might get Hibiscus or Tigerlily, Hibiscus is like a purplish reddish pinkish colour (what?) and Tigerlily is more like nude beige.

Have you tried out this product? Do you have any favourite products from the brand? :)

My Favourite Vitamin Supplement: Hero Nutritionals Yummi Bears!

Hero Nutritionals Yummi Bears Multi-Vitamin and Mineral   $17.99

Do you take supplements daily? If you do, when do you take them, in the morning or before bed? As I'm a vegetarian, I am supposed to be taking supplements daily. But I'm very bad at sticking to the routine including taking medicines or supplements, unless it's a fun thing to do. So I've been taking this vitamin supplement for children recently because it's getting colder and I thought I needed to start taking vitamins to prevent the cold!

It's got four different flavors such as strawberry, orange, pineapple and grape. But to be honest with you,all of them taste the same and I cannot tell the difference at all. They all taste fruity which is very nice actually, but I cannot tell which flavor is which. They don't contain artificial colours or flavors which is important as obviously you don't want to take chemicals while taking supplements.

I don't usually eat sweets much so I'm trying hard to eat 6 gummy bears a day, for me 6 gummy bears is quite a lot! I think it's perfect for children as it says on the package, kids would love this!! I strongly recommend it if you have children, basically serving size for kids is 3 bears a day which must be not enough for them because it's quite tasty :)

Now I'm looking for some other supplements especially for vitamin B6 which are not too sweet but not massive....because I found some American supplements are massive that I cannot even swallow! Let me know if you have any recommendation, I'd be happy to know! :)

My Skincare Routine - Morning

Today I would like to share my morning skincare routine! Hope you enjoy :)

Shigeta Awakening Radiance Mousse

I wrote the full review here if you're interested. Shigeta is a Japanese brand which was actually launched in France first. They only use natural and organic ingredients and are against animal testing. This cleansing foam contains fragrant rose water and rose essential oil which give a heavenly scent to it. It comes out as foam so it's very easy to cleanse your face and I just like to use it in the morning because it doesn't remove makeup and also the scent is perfect to awake my skin.

Caudalie Grape Water
This is basically just water. It's fragrance free 100% grape water. Apparently grape water is good for your skin but to be honest I haven't noticed any difference since I started using it. I just like to spritzing this fine mist after I wash my face to refresh.

Aveda all sensitive moisturizer  34GBP
I'm not going to talk about how amazing this product is here as I've written enough already before, basically I cannot live without this product. The end.

Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Day Cream 13.95GBP
I received this product from lovely Zanka from Zanka talks cosmetics, and I've been loving it so much. It's the perfect day cream which is light and yet moisturizing, with this amazing rosy scent. It moisturizes my skin just enough and I love it!

Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF 30   $14.15
Read full review here! I love this creamy texture so much, it's easy to spread and feels like it gives a thin veil over my face to protect it from the sun. But recently I realized that my waterproof eyeliner transfers to my eyelid when I put this cream on my eyelid. So if you're considering getting this cream avoid your eye area otherwise it ruins your makeup! And the reason why I use Weleda's cream before this one is because it dries out my skin a little in this colder season. It might be too light for dry skin.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream 20GBP
Full review is here.  This is my favourite eye cream ever! I love the pump because I don't have to scoop using a spatula like I used to do. The pump bottle makes it much easier to apply eye cream a few times a day. This cream is perfect under the makeup because it's very light-textured and does sink in quickly. It makes the skin around the eye area very smooth which prevents a concealer to get cakey. I also love the lovely scent in the morning :)

What are your morning skincare essentials?

The products I will not repurchase...

I am usually very careful spending money on anything including clothes and beauty products, but sometimes I pick wrong items and regret. Today I'm going to talk about the products which I will not repurchase again.

1) Love & toast Sugar Scrub and Shower cream
Love & toast is such a lovely brand which is conscious about natural ingredients which don't have harm on your body. Their concept is very agreeable and respectable. And also the package designing is beautiful. But the quality of the products themselves is not very good unfortunately.

First of all, this scrub doesn't do anything. It smells of orange zest which is nice, but that's it. It doesn't make my skin feel soft or smooth at all, so basically it doesn't make a change. So...then why bother to use it? I would rather use other scrubs which actually work.

Then this shower cream which is body lotion, makes my body sticky. I thought it would take time to sink in, but it was sticky for hours. This cream smells good too, the same scent of the scrub, but that's not a enough reason to repurchase it especially considering the sticky aftereffect...

2) Doux me Hand Cream
It could have been discontinued as I couldn't find the product information on their website. Doux me is a french brand that the products are 100% natural and organic. I loved the packaging and also I wanted to try one of their products because I heard they were very good. But this hand cream didn't smell good and made my hands sticky. It smelled of oils which I couldn't stand!! I only used it for a few times and just gave up on it. I feel so bad wasting my money in it... :(

3) ARIMINO Spice Neo Serum Milk
Arimino is a Japanese haircare brand mainly for the professionals. It's supposed to make my hair soft and defines curls, but instead it made my hair bristly and dry. My hair feels much better without it, I just don't see the point of using this. I like the peachy smell but I'm not going to use it again.

This post sounds quite negative now I recognized! I will write something more positive next time!

My September Favourites!

First of all, I'm sorry about the picture as it's a bit blur. I used my mother's camera this time and took quite a nice picture, but when I edited using Illustrator -I wish I had Photoshop- the picture became blur like this. I'm not a professional so I have no idea why but well, it's not the end of the world.

So I'm going to go through the products -from left- quickly!

1) Caudalie Zeste De Vigne Shower Gel : I finished the purple one called "Thé Des Vignes" the other day, and I loved that one so much. I thought of putting Thé Des Vignes in here as my favoruite item of the month, but this orange one is also very nice so I pick this one as my favourite. It smells zesty and fresh, it's perfect for a morning shower. It doesn't foam much and that's kind of annoying but the scent is amazing. I recommend this shower gel strongly if you haven't tried it yet.

2) Caudalie Gentle Cleanser : I LOVE this cleanser. Basically it's milky cleanser which you can use in both morning and night. I don't use toner to remove my makeup but this one takes everything off including my eyeliners, eyeshadows, foundation and mascara. It's gentle and moisturizing, which is perfect for my dry skin. Smells so clean and nice, I love love love this cleanser. I might repurchase it when it runs out.

3) Caudalie Beauty Elixir : I'm not going to talk about it anymore as you might get fed up but I'm going to repurchase it soon. I wish they had a bigger bottle like 500ml, I'm sure there is demand.

4) NEOM Real Luxury Organic Body Scrub : A very nice sugar scrub, could be the best one I've ever used. It makes my skin so soft and hydrated, and the scent is heavenly. I pair it with the body lotion in the same scent, it makes me so happy.

5) Pangea Organics Facial Mask : The best facial mask ever. It was 22% off on Vitacost, I will definitely repurchase it soon as my mum and I have used a half of it within a month. It stinks and looks gross but it does what it says on the package. "DOES EVERYTHING". If you want a baby-like-skin, get this mask. This makes it happen!

6) Jason Facial Wash and Scrub Apricot Scrubble : Usually I only use a facial scrub once a week or one in two weeks even as my skin is a bit sensitive, but I use this one twice a week. I just can't help it because it makes my skin so smooth. It's a gentle scrub so you can use it every day if you want, but I try not to use it more than twice a week because I heard too much scrub can be a cause of a skin breakout. This scrub smells very nice, and the apricot oil is very hydrating without making my skin feel greasy or oily. One of the best facial scrubs for sure. And also it's 43% off on Vitacost!

I hope you enjoyed it!
What was your favourite item in September?

Pangea Organics Facial Mask

Pangea Organics Facial Mask Japanese Matcha Tea With Acai and Gojo Berry $30

Pangea Organics is an American beauty brand that makes cosmetics with organic ingredients and never uses Petroleum, Sulfates or Detergents, Synthetic Preservatives, Artificial Colors or Fragrances, or GMOs.

This face mask is usually $40 but it was $30 on Vitacost (I put the link above). I don't usually use masks much but this one seemed nice and also I think I felt a sense of affinity hearing it contains Japanese Matcha (green tea)!

You put this mask after washing your face. (I like to spray a lotion on my face to prevent any dryness) Then leave it for 10-20 minutes, then apply warm water on your fingers and massage the mask into your skin gently, and wash it off completely.

I know, it looks a bit gross. And I have to tell you that it stinks. Stinks of a wet rag or something. I thought it was a mistake to get this mask because I couldn't imagine myself applying it all over my face.

It looks like this when I spread it on my skin. Gross and stinks still. But I thought to give it a try. But I have to admit that it wasn't that bad applying this green unquestionable facial mask all over my face giving off a smell of damp cloth for 20 minutes, because I got used to the smell after 5 minutes. Or as it gets dry out the smell just fades away. Either way it wasn't that bad.

after 20 minutes it gets dry, then I follow the direction and wet my hands and massage it into my skin. Wash it off. And then, my skin feels like a baby's. My skin feels moisturized, smooth and soft. What more can I ask for?

This is the BEST facial mask I've ever used. It really does what it claims to do, and it's good to know that that's not because of some chemical ingredients which gives fake effects on your skin. This mask is absolutely amazing besides the smell.

You end up looking like this but trust me, it really does work. It works for all skin types so you don't have to worry about it. I have dry and sensitive skin but it didn't give any irritation at all. If you have not tried this facial mask, please do. Because it works. My mum and I've used half the tube already, and I'm going to repurchase for sure.

Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer

Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer SPF30 $11.99 on Vitacost

It's been only a couple of years since I started wearing a sunscreen. Before that I didn't like  it because I thought I wouldn't get tanned. But one day I found some "spots" on my cheek (I wish I could call them freckles...but they are not) and that was my wake-up call. But still I wasn't used to applying a sunscreen before putting makeup on, and also I didn't like the smell of it. But this summer, I've been wearing this sunscreen / moisturizer every morning.

This is an all-natural, paraben-free, vegan friendly sunscreen. I found it on Vitacost and read some reviews which basically said this product was amazing, and I thought to give it a try. It's 54% off on Vitacost which is a great offer, and makes it easier to try out.

It's tend to be a sunscreen and moisturizer, but it's too light for my dry skin. When I apply this right after a spritz of Beaity Elixir all over my face, my skin gets dry immediately. I use Beauty Elixir >> Aveda all sensitive moisturizer >> eye cream >> Devita Solar Protective Moisturizer.

It's fragrance free, that's a bit boring for me as I'm obsessed with good smells...and this cream smells of a sunscreen. I know THIS IS a sunscreen, but it smells of a chemical type of sunscreen which I hated. But it's not too strong, it fades away after like a minute. It's not too heavy obviously, but it stays on my skin which is very important for a sunscreen.

Overall this is a very good sunscreen in my opinion, it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It says on the package that you should reapply it every 90 minutes but that's impossible -especially on makeup? nah...But still it's a good makeup base / sunscreen for morning, and I apply the sunscreen powder I mentioned before here in daytime to add more. I'm not sure if I would repurchase it but for now I'm happy with this product :)

Love & Toast Lip Glaze - Crush Rush

Have you heard of Love & Toast? It's an American brand which welcomed the creator who produced Lollia. Lollia has also got very cute package designing which I adore, but unfortunately the scent was not for me.

Love & Toast is not only cute but also eco-friendly and has got no harm in your body. More than 97% of the ingredients are natural-derived. They don't contain paraben, animal-derived ingredients, genetically-engineered plants, artificial flavors and colors, and of course not tested on animals. In the U.S., a part of the money raised through sales will be donated to Girls Inc. which supports women who cannot receive education.

Love & Toast was introduced here in Japan about a year ago, or maybe almost two years ago. But the distributor in Japan only imports this "classic collection" which I tried and liked, but actually there are more to enjoy! This lip gloss is from "body care collection" which must be newer than the classic collection.

I picked it up on Vitacost for $6.13. The color is called "Crush Rush" which is a peachy-pink color. I loved the color but the main reason why I chose this one was because of the design. You know I am madly in love with London!

It's a very nice lip gloss. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Beeswax and Jojoba Oil hydrate your lips but it doesn't make them greasy at all. It contains gold glitters but they look very elegant. And it smells yummy!! I think it's grapefruits or something, very citrus-y and refreshing. But don't lick it, then you will taste some oils...yuck!

I'm sorry that the picture is kind of blur, my excuse is that I don't have a good camera and am taking pictures with my phone. I hope you can see the subtle glitters and the sheer color, it's just really good for daily-use. Unfortunately I've got sensitive lips and the skin gets peeled off somehow after I've used it so I apply a lip balm (right now I'm using Caudalie lip treatment) underneath to protect my lips.

Do you use lip glosses with natural ingredients? What is your favorite?

Jason Facial Wash and Scrub Apricot Scrubble

To tell the conclusion first, this is the BEST facial scrub I've ever used. I'm so in love with this product. Scrub is an essential item in your skincare routine, doesn't matter your skin type, you need to use scrub to remove dead skin cells and help moisturizers to penetrate well. I use a facial scrub once a week, not more often than that.

"Jason Apricot Scrubble" was only $4.77 on Vitacost. I decided to purchase this item by reading the positive reviews about it there, and those people were totally right.

This naturally gentle, soap-free foaming scrub polishes away impurities, oil and makeup for a clean, comfortable feel. Brightening Apricot Oil and triple refined Walnut Powder gently wash away dead skin cells, revealing a smooth, glowing complexion. Mild enough to use everyday, it's a gentle way to wake up your skin, with no pore-clogging residue.

The texture is quite thick. The scent of natural apricot is very nice, I think everyone loves this kind of smell.

Although it doesn't contain soap it gets foamy somehow. The walnuts feel a bit hard on the skin at the beginning, but once you get used to it it feels quite refreshing. The interesting thing is that when you wash it off, it suddenly gets really oily, like slimy. It takes about 1-2 minutes to wash it off completely but shortly afterword you will notice the difference of your skin. It feels so soft and smooth.

I think the oily feeling comes from apricot oil, and it is the ingredient which makes your skin so soft and silky. Unlike a bad facial scrub, it doesn't dry out your skin at all, instead it moisturizes and protects your skin. A lotion and moisturizer penetrate really well after washing my face with this scrub, and the best thing is the skin condition in the next morning. My skin feels like a silky baby skin!! I strongly recommend this item if you're a facial scrub lover too.

I'm wondering if the other products of Jason are good as well. Let me know if you've got any favorite item of the brand!

Bach Flower Remedies Rescue Cream

Are you familiar with flower remedies? I think it's quite popular in the US and the UK as I've seen the products on websites in both countries. It's not yet so big in Japan, as well as aromatherapy, apparently Japanese people don't believe in the power of plants / flowers much. There were people who said "Aromatherapy, Flower therapy, Holistic Beauty, Homeopathy...those are like dreams. They don't work actually, but people try to believe in them" ...I don't agree with those people at all, because the power of nature is beyond humans' imaginings for sure.

This cream is called "Bach Flower Remedies Rescue Cream", I got it for about $7 from vitacost, which is really cheap because it costs more than 2,000yen in Japan!

RESCUE® Cream is an intensive moisturizer designed to soothe dry, irritated, or damaged skin caused by the stresses and strains of everyday life. As a well-known indicator of how the body feels inside, our skin is often the first place where you see the effects of a demanding, busy life. This can lead to dry, rough, uneven, dull looking skin.

With regular use, RESCUE cream effectively repairs and helps protect the skin against environmental influences and other stress factors. RESCUE cream is a combination of the famous flower essence Rescue Remedy developed by Dr. Bach, and the Bach® Original Flower Remedy Crab Apple, which offers both cleansing and emotional support of appearance. Gentle, safe, and suitable for the whole family.

This cream is a truly a rescue cream. Whenever I get insect bites, or burn my finger, or get a paper cut, pimples, irritated skin, anything happens to my skin, I apply a pea-sized amount of this cream, and it'll work magically.

The other day I got a huge insect bite, which was really itchy and red. It was bothering me so much, and I decided to put this cream on it. It didn't reduce redness at all but definitely reduced itchiness immediately.

I don't include this cream in my skincare routine but it's a must-have item for sure. The flower remedy is also good I heard, have you ever used them? Did it work?
